A new youth website has gone live! Youfa.co.uk has been developed for young people who have been involved with or are interested in knowing more about the University of the First Age (UFA).
The UFA is a national education charity committed to working in innovative and creative ways to enrich and extend learning for young people aged 5 to 25.
The website, which has been designed by young people, aims to connect young people through a national online network.
Insia Ishaji, YoUFA's Youth Ambassador, who is 21, comments: "YoUFA.co.uk is all about young people and the great thing about this website is that young people have designed it and have said what they want on it. When you sign up you can connect with other young people around the UK. You'll be able to make new friends, share experiences, get motivated and have a bit of a laugh too. We've all got at least one thing in common, the UFA!"
Website highlights include:
- YoUFA sign-up which makes it possible for young people to engage with other young people from across the UK
- Resources to help run activities
- News on all the latest events
- Follow the development of the young people's Board
- Discover the UFA's history, and
- Coming soon: we'll be launching our social network
